Project Manager / Program Coordinator
Job Location: Colorado or Virginia
As a Project Manager/Program Coordinator responsibilities include working closely with our Senior Program Managers to prepare comprehensive action plans, including resources, timeframes, and budgets for large Customer Programs; performing various coordinating tasks, such as schedule and risk management, along with administrative duties, like maintaining project documentation, managing customer ticketing systems and handling financial queries. This position is dual-role in that, as time allows, the candidate would independently manage small consulting engagements end to end, tracking costs, managing consulting resources and ensuring customer success.
Job Responsibilities
- For large or complex projects/programs, assist the Senior Project Managers in their day-to-day execution.
- For small projects, plans and manages all aspects from initiation through delivery; providing support, direction to the project team, removing roadblocks and influencing stakeholders.
- Manages administrative activities such as creating/modifying the project tracker(s), schedule(s), customer tool(s) and status report(s).
- Assists in driving and is accountable for delivery to be on time, on budget and agreed upon quality, to defined objectives.
- Identifies issues and takes corrective action where necessary to ensure project success.
- Improves upon existing processes and defines new processes to ensure successful execution and control of the project.
- Delivers the highest level of customer service to ensure success.
Deliverables
- Administratively supports all aspects of the migration from planning through completion, including:
- Budget Management
- Resource requirements, & allocation
- Project schedules and dependencies
- Project baselining, and monitoring, and corrective action.
- Communication mechanisms including: Project status reports & dashboards, Meeting agendas and minutes, exec reports and presentations
- Execute change control, quality, risk management, and communication.
- Lead and/or Run Project Status calls.

Technical Skills:
- Required - Understanding of Project Management methodologies, such as Waterfall and Agile Project Management.
- Ideal – Understanding of network solutions in enterprise and/or service provider accounts.
- Advantageous – Juniper Security Products, Network understanding
- Advantageous - Delivery of software and network projects; through lifecycle, from conception to acceptance.
Experience/Background Desired
- Basic experience in delivering network solutions and an understanding of integration into OSS/BSS/IT in Service Providers and/or Enterprise customers
- Proven experience as a Project Manager/Program Coordinator in similar customer-facing roles.
- Experience dealing with external Customers.
- BA/BS degree in a related area or equivalent project management experience
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or a target date for obtaining this is preferred.
- Formal training and/or Certificate in project management from a university or accredited program, is preferred.

Minimum Salary: $95,700.00
Maximum Salary:$146,740.00
The pay range for this position is expected to be between $95,700.00 and $146,740.00/year; however, the base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position also includes medical benefits, 401(k) eligibility, vacation, sick time, and parental leave. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
Juniper’s pay range data is provided in accordance with local state pay transparency regulations. Juniper may post different minimum wage ranges for permanent residency petitions pursuant to US Department of Labor requirements.
