Job Description
DIVISION PROFILE & OVERVIEW
Global TVD (Television Distribution) is responsible for the licensing distribution of NBCUniversal content to all forms of television and new media to over 200 territories including the U.S. and Canada.
This role focuses on Strategy’s commercial analysis and support to Global TV Distribution, NBCU’s content licensing business (TVD) for the EMEA region.
The London Strategy team is led by an SVP and supported by two VPs. This Manager role will report to the VP level in the team, working in a team assigned to deal projects. This role will take the lead on smaller deal analysis or modelling tasks.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Produce Financial Analysis & Modeling of long-term licensing deals
- Strategic Analysis: Monitor market, programming and technology trends in designated territories
- Prepare sales presentations and occasionally pitch
- Support development of long term financial and strategic planning (e.g. provide input to deaf forecast assumptions)
- Attend client meetings to source client strategy information and to help finalize negotiations
- Source market data from research services and long term deal data for input to Budget assumptions
Qualifications
- Solid experience performing quantitative analysis, forecasting and financial modeling
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues in other teams
- Ability to work in a multi-task, project-driven environment where tight deadlines and multiple demands may require occasional flexible hours and travel
- Proven self-starter, motivated and can work with minimal guidance, finding the right resources to ensure progress
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel and data analysis tools
