Job Summary:
The Contract System Analyst I is responsible for providing technical support and managing the databases and systems used for provider contracting. The Contract System Analyst I will collaborate with the contracting team to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth operations across all platforms.
Essential Functions:
- Manage and maintain contracting databases, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all systems
- Assist in the setup, configuration, and management of contract what-if scenarios
- Collaborate with IT and analytics teams to ensure databases are optimized for performance
- Monitor dashboard performance and proactively identify areas for improvement or issues that need addressing
- Assist with data imports, exports, and migrations, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal system downtime
- Perform regular data audits and system tests to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal and external standards
- Support the development and documentation of workflows, processes, and procedures related to contracting systems
- Collaborate with stakeholders to implement new features or updates
- Provide training and technical guidance to team members on system usage and best practices
- Assist in troubleshooting contract-related issues, identifying root causes, and recommending solutions
- Perform any additional tasks or system-related duties as assigned
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent years of relevant work experience is required
- Database management knowledge is preferred
- Provider contracting or configuration experience is preferred
- Managed care or healthcare experience is preferred
Competencies, Knowledge, and Skills:
- Basic proficiency with SQL and the ability to query, update, and manage databases
- Familiarity with database management and system administration best practices
- Basic knowledge of scripting languages (Python, R, or similar) for automating repetitive tasks or data processing
- Experience with Microsoft Excel for managing data imports/exports and data analysis
- Technical troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve system and data issues
- Ability to work collaboratively with IT, analytics, and contracting teams to address system-related needs
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, especially when working with large datasets
- Ability to communicate technical issues and solutions clearly to non-technical team members
- Basic knowledge of data governance and compliance requirements (HIPAA or similar) is a plus
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and technologies

Compensation Range:
$52,400.00 - $83,900.00
