In your role as a Mgr Customer Service Supply Chain, you will build and maintain strong collaborative relationships with our customer, WK Kellogg Sales, and WK Kellogg Supply Chain. Influencing the customer, our account team and our internal supply teams is critical to the effectiveness of this role. You will balance maximizing in-stock and case fill while minimizing inventory levels. This role manages the inventories in executing features and shelf resets. Execute the sales strategy. In this role you will report to the Senior Manager Customer Logistics with frequent interaction with Sales Executives, Customer Senior Management, and Internal Cross-Functional Partners that impact our service and relationship with the customer. Rogers, AR location preferred.
HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Customer Service & Collaboration: Develop and manage personalized customer and replenishment strategies in assigned market area with the highest demand for Kellogg products to include in-stock management, new item launches, demand planning and inventory management.
- Lead Through Influence: Communicating effectively to achieve leadership support and influence cross-functional stake holders. Effectively influence customer Replenishment manager to gain support for replenishment policies that maximize product availability at store level, while minimizing inventory in the supply chain. Working diligently to balance service and cost for the entire supply chain while meeting or exceeding customer targets
- Be a Strategic Partner: Work across internal team, discuss performance, identify opportunities, and collaborate on solutions.
- Be a Supply Chain Champion: Act as a Supply Chain advocate for Field Sales Partners, Integrated Planning, and all corporate departments to ensure customers’ replenishment expectations are met from the point of order placement through retail sale.
- Provide Data-Driven Insights: Use data-driven insights to influence the deployment of inventory, business strategies, and impact business decisions. Can translate complex information into user-friendly insights.
- Guide With Technology: Utilize system tools and data available in an effort to provide exceptional customer service, replenishment levels and pro-active inventory management. Experience in other related systems, such as Orchestro, TR3, Tableau would also be beneficial.
- Continuous Improvement: Responsible for achieving 95%+ on case-fill and 90%+ on-time to mitigate a 3% cost of goods fine. To achieve this, you will partner with supply chain teams on future development of new tools and processes to further enhance operational efficiencies and deliver on-time and in full.
YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS
- Previously demonstrated a high level of performance and possess the qualifications to service key customers within a team environment
- Proven success at influencing others to deliver results and create winning team culture Strong analytical and communication skills. Ability to influence is key.
- Be an independent problem-solver and exhibit robust leadership skills.
- High degree of attention to detail; Previous experience communicating complex and/or detailed information to multiple individuals/audiences with differing knowledge levels
- Ability to multi-task and deal with frequently changing priorities
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or related field and 4 years’ experience in supply chain, merchandising, engineering, business, or relevant area OR 6 years’ experience in supply chain, merchandising, engineering, business, or relevant area.
- Experience with Retail Link and Luminate a PLUS
