Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Utility/Cleaner to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals with a basic understanding of HVAC systems, lighting, and plumbing, who are eager to learn and grow within the industry. The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to receive paid training and transition into a full-time engineering role with our client.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of facilities, ensuring a safe and sanitary environment.
- Assist with basic maintenance tasks related to HVAC systems, lighting, and plumbing under supervision.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and report issues to supervisors.
- Support the maintenance team with various tasks as required, including equipment setup and inventory management.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Participate in training sessions to develop technical skills and knowledge.
- Maintain a positive attitude and collaborate effectively with team members.
Qualifications:
- Preferred but not required, basic technical knowledge of HVAC systems, lighting, and plumbing.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to tasks.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and a willingness to learn.
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks and lift equipment as needed.
