About the Opportunity
The Supply Administrator performs a variety of functions including management of manufacturing and janitorial supplies, record-keeping and other administrative duties.
What You'll Do:
- Oversees inventory level and distribution for manufacturing and janitorial supplies (including uniforms and mats) and submits a requisition order to purchasing
- Supports the Purchasing Specialist with placing orders for manufacturing material, submitting quote requests, data entry, and purchase order follow ups
- Labels items and organizes storage area
- Issues supplies to the appropriate department or person and maintains supply issue log
- Orders company uniforms for new associates upon receiving the approval from the Controller
- Coordinates pick-up and delivery for uniform cleaning service
- Checks if all issued uniforms are returned upon employee's departure; cancels the account and notifies HR and Accounting; forwards the incoming invoices to accounting
- Checks recyclable materials and coordinates with a vendor for weekly pick-up
- Maintains recyclable records with Chemical Lab
- Coordinates document shredding schedule with vendor and witnesses the entire document destruction process on a monthly basis
- Performs all other job tasks as needed
What You'll Bring:
- Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently
- Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office including strong Excel skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Must be detailed oriented, organized and self-motivated
- Must be able to work overtime as required
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED (Preferred)
- 1+ years of purchase order entry experience in a manufacturing environment (Preferred)
Schedule:
- 8-hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime as needed
- Weekends as needed
