What you will do
- Picks and packs customer orders, work orders and kits.
- Records Shipment data (weights and dimensions), process shipments via customer software and Ensure shipments are loaded on the appropriate carrier.
- Packs and crates inbound parts and materials.
- Unloads and loads materials from freight carriers. Counts pieces and/or pallets against the Bill of Lading.
- Receives inbound material and ships outgoing materials. Verifies counts against packing list and Purchase orders.
- Inspects parts, materials, equipment, and supplies received to assure compliance with purchase order & engineered specifications; identifies and reports shortages, damages, or other discrepancies.
- Processes returns; coordinate the disposition of pending materials with Inventory Control and accounting teams.
- Move inventory, put away stock, perform cycle counts and process inventory transactions when necessary.
- Operates material handling equipment such as: Order Pickers, forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks or dollies to move stock or reorganize storage.
- Participate in the preparation and counting of physical inventory.
- Ability to become proficient in the packing and picking (Kitting and Outbound) job functions, Cycle Counting and Receiving, Stocking within 8 months of hire or promotion from Warehouse Associate I.
- Serves as a trainer for other Warehouse employees in at least 2 job functions.
- Perform daily warehouse maintenance and cleaning.
What we look for
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of Warehouse experience.
- Ability to drive Order Pickers, fork trucks and secures the proper certification.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and written.
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work independently.
- Proficient in cross-functional tasks across all warehouse processes, showcasing the ability to work efficiently and effectively.
