As a Classified Cyber Security/Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) you will join the Classified Cyber Security Team supporting Department of Defense (DoD) programs to ensure classified information systems meet cyber security requirements and government directives.
Daily activities include providing hands on technical assistance for complex systems/networks, cyber technology development/implementation, assessing threats/vulnerabilities, and writing and supporting customer needs (meetings, calls, emails, demonstrations, etc.).
A successful candidate will work effectively throughout the Lockheed Martin organization. Additional duties include:
Participate in planning and implementation of current and future security domains including those which may introduce new service areas (e.g. Cloud Computing, DevSecOps).
Develop system documentation for information system authorization, security management, and continuous monitoring of both networked and standalone classified systems.
Perform system auditing, vulnerability risk assessments, Assured File Transfers, hardware/software configuration management, data integrity containments and investigations on IA related security violations/incidents.
Proactive identification and resolution of security obstacles/issues affecting architectures and deployments.
Provide mentoring and/or guidance to less senior technical professionals

Basic Qualifications:• Bachelors degree in Cyber Security, Information Assurance, Computer Systems, or related discipline
• Familiar with Windows or Linux operating systems
• Proficient with configuring computer systems and/or software
• Must be a US Citizen. This position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Desired Skills:∙ Security+ CE Certification
∙ Basic Knowledge of the Risk Management Framework (RMF)
∙ Familiar with Confluence, JIRA, M365, or similar collaboration tool
∙ Basic Knowledge of Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
