The primary purpose of Strategic Sourcing Process Lead role is to drive execution of projects in one or more of process/systems, data and market intel verticals. This role will focus primarily on process/systems. The individual is expected to work in conjunction with enterprise strategic sourcing category leaders & teams, business teams, legal, and finance in executing projects. This position is required to add value to enterprise strategic sourcing (ESS) by owning and delivering specific streams within process, data and market intel. The individual is responsible for overseeing end to end project execution, ensure quality of deliverables, and meet timelines.
What you will do
Owns and executes sub-stream of process improvement projects owns and delivers projects from start to completion o Follows up with stakeholders and communicate key changes
Supports implementation of technology roadmap
Supports mapping of current state and future state of processes involving enterprise strategic sourcing (ESS)
Facilitates process design and training sessions
Helps reduce turnaround time of processes within S2C
Supports execution of key transformative projects identified and delivered on time
Supports catalog implementation as required
Supports assessment of existing procurement systems to identify fit, gaps and come up with a technology roadmap that is in line with business requirements and ensure simplicity
Creates and maintains SOPs, resources and training materials as required for processes delivered and supported
Own/supports creation of new processes and system configurations
Connects with key stakeholders to improve cross functional processes and system usage
Updates enterprise strategic sourcing (ESS) team with necessary communications and trainings
Analyzes data and rates associated to historical/current spend for baseline development. Coordinates with the business and finance when discrepancies are identified
Supports data analysis across all categories – both reactive and proactive
Supports RFP analytics across categories including bid data analysis, scenario building and recommendations on awards
Supports TCO modeling in sourcing projects using existing tools and without tools
Responsible for key metrics reporting
Increases accuracy of data
Supports with vendor financials, information security group (ISG) analysis and environmental social and governance (ESG) data analysis
Supports both proactive and reactive market intel reports across categories within ESS
Ensures quality of deliverables and strict turnaround times for deliverables
Supports other research including price forecast, key indicators in market, risk assessment, market conditions for entry, benchmarking, competitive assessment and cost breakdown analysis (TCO metrics in regular intervals (monthly/quarterly/daily) as required for executives and category directors
Provides inputs and collaborate with analytics team to develop metrics based on market inputs and help forecast/predict risk
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree Business, Engineering, Science or related field
Minimum 5 years of business experience
Prior experience in process design, improvement, documentation and workshop facilitation
Strong collaboration and communication skills
Experience with Visio
Better than intermediate level in Microsoft Office (Access, Outlook, Excel & Word), Macro
Data Analysis, Excel and PPT knowledge
Exposure to indirect categories and industry research
Exposure to source to contract process and technology
Preferred Qualifications:
Exposure to procurement tools and ERP - Coupa, Oracle, Microsoft
Sourcing experience
Cost optimization tool experience
