Job Summary
B&A is looking for a Salesforce Developer to join a contract with a federal government client in support of an important mission. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a great team while supporting US Customs and Border Protection.
Responsibilities
- Meeting with project managers to determine CRM needs.
- Developing customized solutions within the Salesforce platform.
- Designing, coding, and implementing Salesforce applications.
- Creating timelines and development goals.
- Testing the stability and functionality of the application.
- Troubleshooting and fixing bugs.
- Writing documents and providing technical training for Salesforce staff.
- Maintaining the security and integrity of the application software.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or another relevant subject
- 5+ years of professional software development experience with a focus on user interface development within the Salesforce platform
- Salesforce Platform Developer Credential
Required Skills
- Working knowledge and experience with complex business systems integration as well as object-oriented design patterns and development
- Experience with data driven applications and relational databases
- Experience and expertise in core web technologies including HTML5, Javascript and jQuery
- Software engineering skills with Force.com Platform (Apex, VisualForce, SOQL, Unit Testing)
- Software engineering skills with Java SE & EE (Java, JSF, SQL) preferred
- Experience with Model View Controller (MVC) and Lighting Component Framework
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge of relational databases, data modeling, and ETL tools
- Experience with Agile development methodologies such as XP/SCRUM
- Experience with web services (REST & SOAP, JSON & XML, etc.)
- Familiar with testing, debugging, and deploying code into multiple available environments
Desired Skills
- Experience working on Salesforce platforms or other CRM software packages (Microsoft CRM, InterAction, SalesLogix, Oracle On-Demand, SAP etc.) preferred
- Additional SalesForce Developer Credentials desired
Security Clearance
- Candidate must be eligible for a DHS (CBP) Security Clearance.
- US Citizenship required.
- Current clearance highly preferred.
