NBCU Local Sacramento is looking for an experienced account executive who approaches each day with a desire to uphold our commitment to supporting our local business community. Job Description
- Develop, manage and own client direct and agency relationships through day-to-day interaction
- Create customized solutions for clients that will demonstrate the power of the NBCUniversal Local, NBC & Telemundo Stations Group and NBC Regional Sports Networks (specifically the Sacramento Kings and Athletics properties).
- This role requires effective lead generation, client outreach, ascertainment and presentation skills – offering integrated marketing and non-linear platform solutions to meet revenue goals
- Develop new business revenue by focusing on “conversion” targets from competitive media including radio, print, digital, out of home, cable, events, etc.
- Demonstrate a commitment to consultative sales in service of client goals and revenue attainment
- Manage multi-market opportunities, engaging with key stakeholders across the broader organization
- Embrace and effectively communicate the value of the Hispanic marketplace – positioning the benefits of investing across our linear and digital Telemundo properties
- Commit to long-term business development approach – consistently engaging in business research and professional development
- Demonstrate team mindset, working with colleagues across the business to advance each other’s goals and prospects
Qualifications
- BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in media sales and/or marketing roles with a successful track record of generating increased sales
- Knowledge of media research and measurement products
- Proven success selling non-linear AD solutions including OTT/CTV
- Must be willing and able to work a flexible schedule and be available some evening hours as needed for client events
- Excellent computer skills with MS programs: Excel, PPT, Word and ability to create innovative presentation decks with expertise
- Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

- Must be 18 years or older
- Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in United States
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from client meetings
- Must be willing to work in Sacramento, CA station
Desired Qualifications
- Agency, television, production, creative marketing and/or other brand entertainment experience is preferred
- Solutions-oriented thinker with the ability to quickly understand and assess opportunities and/or problems and be able to respond with creative ideas and solutions
- Strong communication and presentation skills, both oral and written
- Bilingual Spanish a plus
- Knowledge of Sacramento DMA a plus
This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
