Overview
This position provides leadership to the Inside Sales team focusing on telemarketing and sales productivity, driving their performance and meeting established annual goals and objectives.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist the VP of Product Marketing with annual planning of Inside Sales goals, KPIs and alignment with overall Sales & Marketing objectives.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the Inside Sales inbound and outbound activities, ensuring balanced coverage, and making necessary adjustments when needed.
- Coach and develop the individual team members by providing written/verbal coaching and mentoring daily, and as needed.
- Gather data, analyze information, and provide feedback to Inside Sales Reps to increase performance, skill sets, and overall productivity.
- Accountable for achieving the daily, weekly and monthly targets.
- Communicate with the key internal stakeholders across Sales (VPs and BDMs) and Marketing (Product and Segment Strategists, Web Team, Marketing Operations, and Events) on a regular basis.
- Motivate Insides Sales Representatives according to their individual needs.
- Effectively communicate and role model effective telemarketing, sales tactics, strategies, to generate interest with prospective clients.
- Perform on-time annual performance appraisals of all Inside Sales Representatives and administer performance improvement plans, if needed.
- Assist in developing appropriate training and support team member’s career development.
- Develop and increase industry/product knowledge and acumen to position ABM’s value proposition to multiple priority industry, sub-industry segments and growth zones.
- Maintain accurate records of all Inside Sales activities in Salesforce and promoting database cleanup and hygiene through regular and ongoing maintenance activities to ensure proper lead management and KPI dashboard tracking.
- Make recommendations and oversee the execution of process (inbound and outbound) improvements, monthly performance tracking, analysis, insights and reporting on the performance of the team.
- Oversee all internal and external stakeholder relationships and advocate for the Inside Sales team needs with tools (e.g. Salesforce, Invoca, AirCall), resources, training, and process improvements.
Education:
- BA/BS degree preferably related in the field of Business / Marketing, or equivalent direct experience in the field of Inside Sales will be considered.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of current experience and demonstrated results in Sales Development, Lead Generation or Inside Sales in a services-based industry or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of managerial and team leadership experience.
- Experience developing and maintaining effective business relationships with all levels within an organization.

- Experience with Salesforce and automated outreach CRM tools and marketing automation software such as Adobe Marketo, are a plus.
