What does a great Junior Fraud/Risk Analyst do at Fiserv?
You will work to identify and eliminate fraud and credit losses to Fiserv and our clients, reviewing a high volume of risk alerts to identify potentially high risk/suspicious merchant processing activity to protect the firm against financial loss.
What you will do:
• Work in a fast paced environment reviewing a high volume of risk alerts to identify potentially high risk/suspicious merchant processing activity to protect the firm against financial loss.
• Make real time decisions to properly identify situations that require deeper investigation with the ability to identify emerging fraud trends while also identifying false positive alerts that require no additional action.
• Coordinate risk mitigation and fraud remediation efforts with other areas of the business such as Funding, Legal, Operations, Client Services, etc.
• Communicate regularly with internal and external partners to present high risk activity with recommended and/or required actions.
• Be available to work weekends to review fraud alerts in real time to help protect the firm against financial loss.
What you need to have:
• 2 year degree or equlivant prior work experience in credit risk, fraud, and or underwriting.
• Experience using Excel on a daily basis.
What would be great to have:
• Bachelor’s degree. (Business, Finance, Accounting, Criminal Justice, Pre-Law, etc.)
• Experience with MasterCard and Visa Association rules and regulations
• Customer Service experience with track record of dealing in adverse situations
• Strong analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills.
