What does a Fraud Product Director do at Fiserv:
The Fraud Product Director position is responsible for supporting new product development and ensuring growth of existing products to serve financial institutions as they work to balance fraud losses while maintaining consumer confidence to spend. This position is integral to our success in delivering the best in class card fraud solutions to our customers. The Fraud Product Director will develop and lead new product initiatives as well as drive the tactical direction of the assigned card fraud product set.
What you will do:
- Own and drive the card fraud product strategy for existing and new products
- Drive product development for Fiserv Card fraud solutions, engaging with technical partners to facilitate change with accuracy.
- Establish yourself as the go-to-person for the Fraud product strategy
- Closely monitor market trends and competitor activities in the fraud and security space
- Identify market opportunities that protect and extend competitive differentiators and act appropriately by improving current Fiserv card fraud product features where needed
- Collaborate with Marketing, IT and Sales to drive effective product visions and solutions
- Act as CEO of your product set, managing the processes across business units to ensure that the consumer experience using the tools is optimal.
- Work closely with senior leadership providing status, actions plans and recommendations
- Build strong relationships with Fiserv processed Issuers, understanding their business needs and ensuring the right Fiserv solution set is provided to meet their card fraud needs.
- Create business cases to justify development, illustrating the benefit well.
- Lead technical and non-technical cross-functional teams through product planning, development, test planning and product launch
- Manage 3rd party solutions and partners where applicable to ensure performance expectations are met.
- Establish and monitor key metric reports.
- Ensure a pristine control environment.
- Collaborate with internal partners in Compliance, Legal, Service, Implementations, Conversions, Sales, Relationship teams and Training to ensure the product set is understood and supported.
- May be required to be a people manager.
What you will need:
- Bachelor's Degree is preferred or equivalent work experience, and a minimum of 3 years’ experience in the Issuing Card Fraud space.
- The ability to articulate the product vision and value proposition both internal and externally, to all levels.
- Communicate technical concepts and requirements clearly to both IT and business resources.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and influencing skills, with proven ability to take initiative and build strong, productive relationships.
- Detail-oriented with superior organizational skills balancing multiple projects, deadlines, and requests.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
- Shown success in delivering projects within budget and specified timeframes, while ensuring customer satisfaction.
