What does a successful Content Strategy Manager do?
As a Content Strategy Manager on the Strategy, Operations and Insights team within Global Brand and Communications, you will develop and manage enterprise content initiatives that enhance our brand and position in the market, educate consumers and business clients, and drive business results for Fiserv.
You’re passionate about content that is iconic, compelling and delivers meaningful impact. You apply analytical rigor to ensure our content strategy is aligned to audience and business objectives before creative is developed. You are collaborative, partnering with business marketing stakeholders and centers of excellence in communications, web, media, and events.
What you will do:
Develop and execute content strategies for enterprise brand and business initiatives targeting consumers, small businesses, and enterprises.
Manage integrated content calendars for thought leadership platforms, including blogs, podcasts, and events, aligning them with business goals.
Ensure content strategies align with business objectives and audience-level brand content.
Work closely with the content development team to ensure content creation aligns with strategic goals.
Provide briefs, guidelines, and insights to the content development team for enterprise-level campaigns.
Develop and maintain editorial guidelines, processes, and documentation to ensure consistency across all content outputs.
Coordinate with centers of excellence in communications, web, social, and events to ensure content is optimized for distribution across owned channels.
Regularly review and update content strategies based on performance data and market trends.
Manage content lifecycle processes, conduct content audits, and ensure alignment to audience and business objectives.
What you will need to have:
Bachelors Degree in Communications, English, Business or related field
4+ years of content strategy, marketing or editorial experience understanding of financial services is a plus
Experience editing and copywriting skills across various content formats (blogs, whitepapers, case studies, videos, etc.)
What would be great to have:
Familiarity with marketing and content management systems (CMS) like Adobe Experience Manager, Marketo, and Sprout Social
Experience collaborating with product teams, designers, SEO specialists, and other marketing professionals to ensure cohesive content
Proficiency in using project management tools like Workfront and Microsoft Office to track content projects
Proficiency in managing content calendars, prioritizing initiatives, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Ability to analyze campaign and content performance metrics, including SEO, traffic, engagement, conversions, and reporting on KPIs
