What does a successful Senior Project Manager do at Fiserv?
You will be a key contributor in the conversions and implementations organization, working directly with clients, providing project management responsibilities for conversion and startup projects. You will migrate an existing portfolio from another processor (TSYS, In-house) to the Fiserv credit processing system. Conversions can be for a new Fiserv client, or for an existing client that is adding to their portfolio. Startups involve starting from ground zero and building out the required products and services on the Fiserv system to support a new client launching a new portfolio.
What you will do:
- Ensure that Fiserv delivers on its commitments to our financial institution partners
- Drive client engagement with stakeholders across the organization
- Drive complex, high priority projects or component phases of larger programs
- Deliver project on time, within budget, and within scope
- Develop project plans, manage key deliverables, and report on issues, risks, and status
- Ensure custom development delivery as required for the client
- Leading and coordinating cross-functional, cross-departmental, cross-company teams that are responsible for all aspects of a project, from initiation to closure
What you will need to have:
- 5+ years of progressive project management experience
- 4+ years of experience managing client expectations and delivering client-ready communications
- 4+ years of experience managing project deliverables
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, and military experience
What would be great to have:
- Experience in a client-facing role
- Understanding of the Credit Card Issuing Industry and associated products
- Ability to problem-solve, mitigate risks and issues, research and learn independently
- PMP Certification
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project, MSPO experience a plus
