What does a successful Manager IT - NEST do at Fiserv?
The Manager IT is responsible for leading and ensuring completion of all activities that are required to ensure successful enhancement deliveries, as well as oversees on-going support, ensuring viable solutions are provided to our client base. Partnering with teams across the organization and our clients, this individual ensures installations are completed on time and in accordance with client requirements.
This position will also serve as an application administrator for a file transfer system that is based on IBM’s Suite of File Transfer Products, primarily Sterling File Gateway / B2B Integrator. This position will be responsible for installation, upgrade, and research of application software as well as Linux / Unix scripting.
What you will do:
- Provide program leadership and help drive accomplishment of department level initiatives.
- Participate in project planning; determine project needs in advance and work with others to establish an appropriate timeline to complete projects on time.
- Ensure risk management and prompt escalation/awareness to appropriate senior leadership teams while working through the mitigations
- Provide leadership through coaching, feedback, development goals, and performance management.
- Define and implement methods, procedures, tools, and policies to ensure that high-quality service is delivered to customers.
- Establish and manage effective cross functional communication channels within and act as the liaison to deliver customer feedback to internal peers and sr. management.
- Design, develop, and implement processes, systems, and technology to support and enhance the technical support function
What you will need to have:
- 6+ years of directly related experience
- Strong ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- 1+ years of Sterling File Gateway / B2B Integrator (SFG/B2Bi) / Sterling Secure Proxy (SSP) / Sterling External Authentication Server (SEAS) / IBM Control Center (ICC) / MyFileGateway
What would be great to have:
- Experience with SFTP and SSH Key Authentication
- Familiar with Connect:Direct File Transfers
- Proficient in PGP encryption / decryption / Oracle / NAS
