Overview
The
Warehouse Technician is responsible for ensuring the efficient organization and maintenance of warehouse inventory and facilities, as well as assisting with the daily operations of the warehouse. This role involves material handling, inventory control, and the upkeep of the assigned warehouse area.

Basic Qualifications: • Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must be able to read, write, and speak in English
• No experience required and on the job training provided
• No high school diploma, GED or college degree required
Preferred Qualifications: • Customer service experience
• 1 year of similar work experience
Responsibilities:
- Organize and maintain inventory in the warehouse to ensure efficient use of space and materials
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts or pallet jacks, to move products and materials as needed
- Follow safety and operational procedures for loading, unloading, and storing products
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, co-workers, and shift coordinators to ensure smooth workflow
- Notify Manager regarding any maintenance or repairs needed for warehouse equipment or facilities
- Follow procedures for handling materials and chemicals safely and properly
- Assist in receiving shipments, inspecting items, and ensuring accurate order fulfillment
- Keep warehouse areas clean, organized, and free from hazards
- Maintain accurate records of inventory and orders
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs)
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move around the warehouse for extended periods
Additional Responsibilities:
- Move pallets, boxes, crates, and equipment within the warehouse using hand trucks or forklifts
- Clean warehouse floors, shelves, and equipment as needed
- Sweep, dust, and perform seasonal tasks like snow removal around the warehouse area
