About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Salesforce Administrator with a preferred background in the EdTech industry. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Sales Cloud, CPQ, and Salesforce automation tools such as flows, triggers, and Lightning components. You will play a critical role in optimizing and scaling our Salesforce environment to be flexible, ensuring data integrity, and driving user adoption.
Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain the Salesforce platform, focusing on Sales Cloud and CPQ.
- Design, implement, and manage Salesforce flows and triggers to automate business processes while ensuring adherence to security best practices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and document data modeling requirements and relationships in relational databases.
- Ensure data privacy and security measures are in place, including role hierarchies, profiles, and permission sets, to protect sensitive information.
- Advanced reporting to support all stakeholders in the organization.
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify bottlenecks or areas for improvement, leveraging Salesforce and third-party tools for system health checks and optimization.
- Support the implementation of agile methodologies in project management and development processes.
- Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring they can effectively utilize Salesforce features.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Salesforce-related issues, collaborating with the team as necessary.
- Manage integrations with other systems (Zendesk, Hubspot, etc.) to ensure seamless data flow and operational efficiency.
- Understand and evaluate business requirements in the context of our overall system solutions, including systems outside of Salesforce (Zendesk, Hubspot, etc.).
- Create and maintain technical documentation for the Salesforce instance, including documentation related to system performance and security best practices.
- Stay updated on Salesforce best practices and trends, especially within the EdTech sector.
The ideal candidate will have:

- Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management principles
- Experience in monitoring and optimizing system performance using Salesforce or third-party tools
- Experience with cross-platform integrations, such as Zendesk or Hubspot

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams

- A bachelor's degree and 5 or more years of professional work experience as a Salesforce Administrator.
- Experience working in the EdTech industry.
