SUMMARY
The Supply Chain Analyst uses tools from DMAIC, PDCA, lean and six sigma methodologies to identify problems and analyze possible solutions. Requires knowledge and experience in own discipline. Additionally, this role will implement and support continuous improvement and business process changes.
Role is performed fully in person.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Participate in supply chain projects, with consideration to the entire supply chain (plan, source, make deliver).
- Optimizes supply plans in a lean environment, including coordination of materials to match production demands.
- Analyze opportunities for improved inventory accuracy and partnership with Manufacturing Operations.
- Takes ownership in performing root cause analysis and driving corrective actions across Supply Chain, utilizing Supply Chain and lean tools.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners including suppliers, supervisors, team leads and material handlers.
MUST HAVE QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain, Engineering or Finance
- Strong computer skills with experience in Excel, Outlook and Word
- Excellent and effective communication skills through written, verbal and listening.
- Effectively collaborates and works well with others.
- Strong aptitude in process improvement, problem solving and attention to details.
NICE-TO-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with material and/or inventory planning.
- Ability to understand customer needs.
- Developing knowledge of supply chain technologies such as ERP, Manufacturing Execution System and Warehouse Management Systems.
