Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a full-time Associate Proposal Analyst (early career). In this role, you will support all phases of the proposal process from Request for Proposal (RFP) through negotiations including: Analysis of the development of proposal plans and schedules, review of the Basis of Estimates (BOE’s), support of the Executive Planning Panel (EPP) reviews and proposal fact finding and negotiations. The Individual will serve as the main financial interface on proposals and act as key staff on proposal teams. The individual will also: ensure all due dates are met; review proposal inputs; document scope changes; coordinate document reviews; work closely with authors in their development of basis of estimates, bill of materials, etc. that meet established proposal quality standards. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of cost estimating and financial analysis. Cost estimating skills will enable the candidate to analyze the basis of estimates (BOEs) and ensure they are accurate and well-supported. Financial analysis skills will be crucial for the individual to serve as the main financial interface on proposals and support executive planning panel reviews and negotiations.
Basic Qualifications:- Bachelors degree from an accredited college in finance, business, accounting, or a related discipline
- Experience in Pricing, Estimating, Finance or other Business Operations function.

- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills - Using creativity, reasoning, and past experiences to identify and solve problems effectively.
- The individual will need to be able to work independently and as part of an integrated team.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $47,800 - $91,500. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
