About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Business Accountability Specialist who will be responsible for reducing risk and improving control effectiveness, policy compliance, and security through a unified approach and will be an integral part of the Wealth and Investment Management Technology (WIMT) Governance Office team. You will perform assurance activities to validate that technology systems and processes meet regulatory requirements and internal controls. The role will provide governance guidance to technology and platform teams, helping them integrate risk and compliance into daily operations. The Lead Business Accountability Specialist will guide security and risk management initiatives to strengthen our risk and security posture and ensure secure through the use of compliant technology operations throughout the organization. They will also monitor key security metrics and provide risk reporting to senior leaders and relevant stakeholders, summarizing key risks and mitigation progress.
In this role, you will:- Lead complex initiatives with broad impact which are designed to mitigate current and emerging business risk issues and concerns; act as key participant in large-scale, cross-functional planning for the business
- Assess, analyze, and design complex and multi-faceted controls, protocols, and approaches with respect to risk mitigation and the control environment, including ensuring effective planning for sustainability, ongoing control adherence, reporting, measurement, technology impacts, and monitoring
- Make decisions in complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of business's functional area or products, operations, and regulatory environment; facilitate decision-making and issue resolution, and support implementation of developed solutions and plans; influence and lead key business partners to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
- Strategically collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid to senior-level managers to identify current and emerging risks associated with business activities and operations, and provide guidance in interpreting, developing, and implementing risk-mitigating strategies
- Act as liaison for the business with external parties to support timeliness, appropriate response strategy, and effectiveness of communications and materials
- May lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor
Required Qualifications:- 5+ years of risk management, business controls, quality assurance, business operations, compliance, or process experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 2+ years of Technology Risk Management experience
- 2+ years of experience with Issue Management
Desired Qualifications:- Experience managing multiple medium technology development efforts within a major line of business
- Ability to influence across all organizational levels, particularly senior management
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
- Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand, environment while balancing multiple priorities
- Ability to deliver concise, time critical information to all levels of management, technology and business teams
- Strong analytical skills and ability to solve complex technical problems

Pay RangeReflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$111,100.00 - $197,500.00
