I can take your career somewhere. I'm very serious.
All we do is sell, integrate and support Microsoft 365 and Azure cloud systems. We service over 250 companies across the United States with between 30 to 200 users, with the average being around 100 users. Every single one of them has the latest Microsoft 365 and Azure cloud servcies integrated into their system...because we put it there. We do not take on supporting junky outdated networks. We do not take on a client unless we are putting in a fully configured Microsoft 365 and Azure system with the goal of that client being 100% serverless.
We are looking for a smart, good-natured, full-time Level 2 IT Support Specialist who wants to work 100% remote in advanced Microsoft 365 cloud services environments supporting end users with their physical and virtual Windows PC's, Mac's, iPhones, and Android devices connecting primarily to Microsoft 365 cloud services like Exchange Online, Teams Files and OneDrive, Microsoft Teams Phone System, Microsoft Intune, Entra ID, Windows 365 Cloud PC's, and sometimes Azure Virtual Machines.
We are also looking for someone who is interested to work in an environment that develops experiences and skills in Microsoft 365 and Azure cloud systems, and sets goals for you to achieve Microsoft certifications like MS-900, MS-102, SC-300, and AZ-104. You will be surrounded with other IT pros with the real-world practical experiences and certifications with Microsoft 365 and Azure.

Important note: we are looking for someone within 3 specific time zones: central, eastern, or mountain time. Our office hours ours are 8am to 5pm central time. If you are in the Chicago metro area that would be nice as it is where about half our team is located but it is not required. Please note that if you live in the Pacific Time Zone, we have learned over time that the Pacific Time zone time difference doesn't work well long term.
This is the work from home environment we require:
1. Fast cable or fiber Internet connection at least 30Mb down, 10Mb up.
2. Three year or newer Windows 11 Pro computer running the latest build of Windows.
3. A headset with a boom mic that sits near your mouth for best voice quality for speaking with customers.
6. A quiet room you can close off from outside sounds: dogs barking, kids crying, noisy traffic, loud family members talking in the room next to you. Presenting a very professional image to clients, while providing our valuable team members work from home flexibility, is a key goal.
These are the skills we are most interested in:
- Supporting users accessing Microsoft 365 cloud services
- General troubleshooting of Windows OS, some MacOS, Android and iPhone mobile OS's
- Internet connectivity troubleshooting
- Setting up Microsoft 365 user accounts and subscriptions
- Windows OS deployments and user computer setups
Huge pluses:
- Experience setting up users with the Microsoft Teams Phone System
- Experience managing computers with Microsoft Intune
- Experience with Azure virtual machines and Azure Virtual Desktops
- Microsoft certifications like MS-900, MS-102, and SC-300
We are looking for someone that:
- Has a Bachelor's degree, with a diploma copy they can easily locate.
- Is OK to complete a criminal and drug background check.
- Is OK for us to verify employment dates listed on their resume with previous employers, and with current employer if you accept a job offer from us.
- US-based only and a fluent English written and speaking grammar level.
- Copy of technical certifications listed on your resume.
Each engineer has 1 on-call rotation about every 10 weeks, taking on average 2-4 calls after-hours during the entire week (i.e., not many calls).
Training and certifications are extremely important to us and we have a training and certification plan we set each engineer on with goals and dates to meet the plan.
Our days start at 8 A.M. Central Time. We have a 9 A.M. virtual stand-up meeting/huddle as well as company-wide all-hands meetings Friday afternoons every other month. All of our meetings are done through Teams video meetings. You will have a direct phone number and be connected into our phone system - which is why a very strong, fast Internet connection, with a fast computer and router, all hardwired with a good headset and boom mic are very important. You will be working a lot on the phone.
We are a fun team at Xerillion and you'll get the opportunity to work on a lot of interesting projects with Microsoft cloud services.
This job comes with paid time off, paid holidays, medical/dental/retirement savings benefits.
If you do well with your training and supporting users, you will have the opportunity to advance into project work over time.
You can learn a bit more about us on our website, YouTube and Facebook.
Thanks for your interest and we look forward to speaking with you!
P.S. If you have gotten this far reading this job posting and are very interested about this job, I have a hint for your application that will set you apart from those that half-read this job posting and just fired off their resume without thoroughly reviewing this job posting.
