A Day in the Life: G&P Commercial Technology Representative
As a G&P Commercial Technology Representative, you'll be a driving force in shaping how we use technology to optimize our operations. You'll own key systems that forecast volumes, impacting everything from daily operations to long-term financial planning. Collaborate with stakeholders to design and develop new features, pilot user interfaces, and manage system integrations. You'll challenge the status quo by exploring machine learning and AI to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Continuously improve our systems by analyzing data, troubleshooting discrepancies, and responding to user feedback. This role is a dynamic blend of technical expertise, project leadership, and customer focus, where you'll make a direct impact on the success of our Gathering & Processing business.
The Commercial Technology Sr or Lead is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and implementing modifications for a proprietary forecasting, natural gas liquid modeling, and imbalance management system and an external facing customer portal in support of our Gathering and Processing business. This role will drive teamwork between business partners to deliver projects that improve revenue, accuracy, reliability, and prediction capability.

Responsibilities/Expectations:
Ensures the modeling system operates in compliance with all regulations using standard methodologies, best practices, and continuous improvement
Designs prototypes and proof of concepts for modeling, data mining and production purposes; builds sophisticated models that use predictive or prescriptive analytics
Carries out modeling system changes and partners with internal business partners to ensure expansion and growth project requirements are detailed ahead of in-service dates
Provides recommendations to create and implement business process, workflow, and technology solutions to achieve our business objectives
Analyzes data to see trends, predict behavior, and identify process improvements
Serves as a subject matter specialist in regulatory requirements, business processes, procedures, standards and guidelines
Mentors and trains others

Education/Years of Experience:
G&P Commercial Technology Rep Sr
Required: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Engineering, IT or related field; minimum of eight (8) years’ related experience
Preferred: Master’s degree
G&P Commercial Technology Rep Lead
Required: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Engineering, IT or related; minimum of ten (10) years’ related experience
Preferred: Master’s degree
Ability to lead and negotiate opposing interests of a cross-functional project team from requirements gathering to implementation
Advanced capability with SQL, Python, Microsoft Power Platform (PowerBI, ADF, PowerAutomate)
Demonstrates experience working with forecasting and process modeling
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications, sophisticated databases and Power BI
Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
Understanding of scheduling/contracting processes
