Research Analyst
Key Role:
Apply expert understanding of public health disciplines to implement programs and policies. Apply specific functional, working, and general industry knowledge. Develop or contribute to solutions for a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Work independently with some guidance and review or guide activities of junior employees.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience in data analysis experience with Microsoft Excel
Experience with patient data protection regulations, including HIPAA and CIPSEA
Ability to retain survey participants from the beginning of the study and ensure they continue to submit the required data throughout its duration
Ability to work cross-functionally across workstreams to relay information and guide health centers through the survey participant process
Ability to gather and comprehend technical conversations and convey information to survey participants
Ability to manage priorities for upcoming deadlines, reports, and meetings
Ability to collect, analyze, and compile data into technical reports and presentations for project management team and client stakeholders
Ability to track survey para-data pertaining to onboarding and data collection progress
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team
Bachelor's degree
Additional Qualifications:
Experience with public health or data analysis
Experience with data analysis using SQL and Visual Studio
Knowledge of EHR vendors, including eClinicalWorks, AthenaHealth, NexGen, or EPIC and transmission of EHR records
Ability to identify trends, patterns, and insights relevant to the study to enhance the efficiency of the data
Ability to guide team members and taking on leadership roles when opportunities arise
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate effectively with diverse audiences and cross-functional teams involved in the survey process
Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Health Science, Data Analysis, or a related field

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
