As a level 4 reliability engineer, you will be responsible for guiding and supporting Enterprise Aeronautics Facilities organization in long-term asset management strategies in order to optimize resources and asset availability. Position supports asset availability teams with establishing system engineering principles such as reliability, supportability, and maintainability across all life-cycle phases from design through system decommissioning. Typical project activities would include the following: Applying the principles of reliability engineering to achieve optimal asset availability.
Identifying appropriate surveillance and testability methods and maintenance activities (Condition Monitoring - CM) that may employ prediction tools and Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) solutions to optimize use of mission critical assets.
Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications:• Experience developing and administering reliability processes and systems
• Experience in performance improvement and reliability program management across all asset system life-cycle phases
• Experience in strategic data analytics
Desired Skills:Experience in creating product and process reliability requirements using reliability and design techniques such as FMEA, fault tolerance, optimization, Design of Experiments (DOE), and OEM supplied information and documentation
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
• Experience in strategic data analytics; specifically, aspects of machine reliability
• Comprehensive understanding of ISO55000
• Experience with identifying, collecting, normalizing, and analyzing various types of data to minimize system failures and improve performance
• Experience using failure analysis (FRACAS) and other types of root cause analysis, in support of industrial facilities asset system
• Experience developing reliability test plans that represent the expected use environment and operational conditions
• Experience selecting, analyzing, and interpreting the results of various test methods to be used in sustainment planning
• Experience with machine probability and statistical tools to analyze machine health
• Experience with hypothesis testing, with a general familiarity of appropriate statistical models, as they relate to tolerance and confidence intervals
• Experience connecting critical machine tools to a network and setting up data collection structure for IIOT

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
