The Strike Weapons Survivability Team in Troy Alabama is seeking a Low Observables Engineer to support production operations for a cutting edge Missile program.
What You Will Be Doing The successful candidate will be responsible for assessment and disposition of anomalies relating to the LO design of the vehicle.
Candidate will also be responsible for evaluation of Radar Cross Section (RCS) data required for DD250 of each missile.
Must have the ability to work independently and in small teams and participate in Government forums and internal program reviews.
- Up to 25% travel required.
***Position is on site full time and located at the LM-MFC Troy, AL facility

Global Diversity & Inclusion.Basic Qualifications:- Must have experience evaluating RCS (radar cross section) measurements of the vehicle.
- Experience with planning, performing, post-processing, and communicating the results of vehicle signature measurements.
- Experience using RCS data collection and data reduction software to analyze vehicle performance.
- Knowledge of the Effects of Defects (EOD) and Effect of Repairs (EOR) on vehicle signature.
- Experience with evaluating discrepancies and creating repair procedures.
- Experience writing and using scripts to batch analysis and post-processing.
- Knowledge in radar cross section reduction (RCSR) or radio-frequency (RF) antenna design/integration
- Knowledge of RADAR, RF materials, RF material measurements
** Active or ability to obtain a Top Secret Security Clearance, therefore you must be a US Citizen.
Desired Skills:Previous experience with missile production.
Previous experience in low observables (LO), survivability.
CAD software literacy for model cleanup and meshing.
The position requires strong verbal and written communication skills for reports and technical briefings to large groups.
The candidate should or will develop experience in customer/client interaction.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Top Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
