IronOrbit’s Business Unit is seeking a dynamic and experienced Account Manager (AM) to lead client engagement efforts and drive business growth. We are looking for a proactive professional with a passion for relationship-building and a results-driven approach to account management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Engagement & Relationship Management: Cultivate strong, long-term partnerships with assigned client portfolio through proactive communication and value-driven solutions.
- Business Growth & Expansion: Identify and pursue opportunities to enhance business operations and expand service offerings, ensuring alignment with client needs.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with sales, presales, project management, and customer success teams to execute strategic roadmaps and deliver measurable outcomes.
- Customer Experience Focus: Monitor key success metrics to ensure high levels of client satisfaction, retention, and success.

This is a 100% Remote Opportunity.
Shift: Monday - Friday 9:00am – 6:00pm PST; off most major holidays and weekends.
Salary Range: $55,000 - $68,000 Depending on education and experience + sales commissions

Key Responsibilities:
- Build and Manage Client Relationships: Develop trusted partnerships by understanding client needs and delivering tailored solutions.
- Identify and Drive Growth Opportunities: Pursue upsell, cross-sell, and new business opportunities to expand client portfolios.
- Oversee the Sales Cycle: Manage leads, transactional sales, referrals, and closing deals.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work with marketing, product, and support teams to align strategies and ensure seamless client experiences.
- Resolve Client Issues: Address escalated requests and technical challenges promptly and effectively.
- Monitor Satisfaction and Performance: Use feedback, KPIs, and tools like AutoTask, NPS, and CSAT to track client health and performance.
- Lead QBRs and Strategic Planning: Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews and align client needs with IronOrbit’s solutions and revenue targets.
- Document and Report: Maintain detailed client records and provide performance reports to ensure continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Education & Experience: Associate’s Degree in Business (or equivalent) with 3–5 years in B2B account management, selling IT solutions or services.
- Communication Skills: Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills for client interactions.
- Technical Knowledge: Experience selling IT solutions (preferably cloud technology) with the ability to align products/services with client needs.
- Collaboration: Work with PreSales, Procurement, and Solution Design teams to create quotes and scopes of work (SOW).
- CRM & Software Tools: Familiarity with AutoTask CRM, Microsoft 365 (Excel, PowerPoint), Teams, Zoom, HubSpot, etc.
- Consultative Selling: Skilled in collaborative communication to build mutual value with clients.
- Self-Motivation & Agility: Results-oriented with the ability to meet KPIs and transition smoothly between tasks.
- Reliability: Manage portfolios, tickets, and sales activities independently with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Education & Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Business (or equivalent) with 5–8 years of B2B account management experience.
- Advanced IT Expertise: Strong background in cloud technology and managed IT solutions for SMB and enterprise clients.
- C-Level Engagement: Experience selling cloud-based solutions to senior IT and finance executives.
- Industry Tools: Familiarity with Dialpad, SalesIntel, Gartner, Barracuda, CrowdStrike, and ProofPoint.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proven ability to work across departments and with vendors, clients, and partners.
