Cushman and Wakefield are looking for an experienced individual to work at one of their newest and most prestigious client sites in Belgravia as a Housekeeping Supervisor.
Job Description
Core Responsibilities:
- Managing, training and mentoring housekeeping staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Monitoring the work activities of cleaning team to ensure that they are providing a clean, orderly, and attractive environment for guests.
- Managing inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring an adequate supply is available at all times.
- Conduct quality checks to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.
- To be responsible for upkeep and cleaning maintenance of the assigned area, including but not limited to pantries, washrooms, corridors, meeting rooms, communal areas as well as any necessary assistance within the office space.
- To ensure all building floors are presentable as agreed with the client
- To ensure floor walks are carried out to maintain standards
- To support Workplace Experience Manager with events and any housekeeping tasks associated with it
- Comply with C&W policies, systems, and H&S requirements and ensure these are met during the shift
- Respond to requests within agreed timescales and procedures with the client and C&W
- Ensure all cleaning machinery is used in a safe working order
- Ensure all cleaning products as well as cleaning standards are maintained to highest standards
- Perform any ad hoc duties requested by the site manager or client
- Proactively report any maintenance issues within the building and escalate when needed
- Attend all assigned meetings and training sessions
- Be flexible to support Workplace Experience Manager with functions, events and other responsibilities including outside of core working hours as required
- Work well as a team member or independently
Qualities and Personal Attributes:
- Previous experience in a luxury 5 star hotel-level housekeeping role is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and support a team.
- Demonstrate and deliver strong customer service
- Able to work in a team environment but also independently
- Be able to adapt to last minute changes and proactively solve it for C&W
- Have the ability to work under minimal supervision
