Hybrid: This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Concord, NC three times per week, at minimum.
The Role
We are seeking a Lead Simulation Engineer with a strong background in vehicle dynamics and simulation relating to motorsport applications. You will work with a team of simulation and software developers to produce a complete simulation toolchain for maximizing vehicle on-track performance for GM’s interests in F1. You will be required to set direction and bring state of the art simulation methods to the program. Areas of work will include but not be limited to defining and implementing best practices for the series in vehicle and subsystems modeling, vehicle dynamics target setting, R&D in CAE methods, data analytics and DiL development.
