Description: Independently perform a variety of routine wiring and installation duties and/or modifications of electrical and electronic systems on aircraft.
Typical Responsibilities
Follow prescribed procedures and detailed instructions, drawings, cable and wiring diagrams, post terminal charts, assembly operation sheets and other oral or written instructions to properly route and terminate wires, cables and harnesses, etc., and install and replace electrical and electronic equipment.
Drill holes and fasten down cables, harnesses and equipment with clamps, straps or other means of support.
Splice wires and perform minor repair work using heat gun, soldering iron, crimpers, etc., and other hand and/or power tools normally associated with electrical installations.
Check all work to insure adherence to quality standards, and sign off and complete all required paperwork.
As directed, assist other installers on wiring, installations, and/or rework, sign out for Government Furnished Equipment (G.F.E.).
At the direction of supervision, perform a variety of other duties, usually of a related or similar nature, such as correcting inspection reported discrepancies.
Refer all problems to Working Leader or Supervisor.
As required segregate waste material and follow good housekeeping practices.
Basic Qualifications:
Requires the ability to read and understand drawings, cable and wiring diagrams, and follow operation sheets.
Use arithmetic involving decimals and fractions and use hand and/or power tools associated with electrical installations, such as soldering irons, crimpers, strippers, drills, screwdrivers, etc.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: Standard Monday to Friday 40 hour work week
