As we move towards our ZERO ZERO ZERO vision for the future, we are looking to add hardworking individuals to our lab technician team! On this team, we contribute to that vision by supporting the development of groundbreaking electric and autonomous driving technology through building and maintaining sophisticated developmental vehicles and electrical test benches.
These fleets & benches allow for the early integration and verification of software at a vehicle system-level as part of the General Motors - Global Vehicle Development Process (GVDP).For our role as the Fleet & Electrical Bench Technician, you will have the opportunity to exhibit more expertise and training beyond that of an entry-level technician. Our technician role manages most project responsibilities, rather than working on parts of a job.
We want to add an individual to our team that is driven and independent because the work is less routine and involves more decision making with minimal direction. You will work in several departments where you will demonstrate your knowledge, skills, and learning abilities with a minimal amount of cross training. Strong Communication skills are needed in this role to optimally communicate across our diverse teams. As the Technician, you'll tackle various tasks, as well as train more entry level technicians! This position supports the test and development of automotive electrical systems by constructing and supporting advanced electrical test benches and update/retrofit of vehicle test fleet electronics.
