Job Description:
Apply your expertise to advance the mission and optimize our business strategy as a Emerging Technology Vice President at GDIT. Here, you’ll support solving some of our clients’ biggest challenges and help us grow the business.
Serve as a senior thought leader for GDIT at the forefront of emerging technology that will impact and benefit our customer’s missions. Help infuse emerging technology into the successful delivery of our growth strategies and pursuits as an Emerging Technology Vice President.
HOW AN EMERGING TECHNOLOGY VICE PRESIDENT WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
- Research and assess the emerging technology landscape to find strategic intersections and opportunities in GDIT markets
- Build relationships with emerging technology providers and introduce them to GDIT growth and delivery leaders
- Work with senior leaders to understand, adopt, and compete in emerging technology domains
- Work with GDIT teams to bring emerging tech and associated partners to growth pursuits and current customer contracts
- Help integrate emerging technology into GDIT’s technology offering portfolio.
- Represent GDIT at industry and customer events and in marketing and media
- Lead Emerging Tech team engaged across GDIT’s business development and program portfolios
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
- Education: Master's Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
- Required Experience: 10+ years of Information Technology in Cloud, Software Development, Enterprise IT, or related domain
- Required Skills and Abilities:
- Expertise in managing and performing IT modernization
- Expertise in performing technology market and alternatives analysis
- Expertise in IT architecture and technology solutions in one or more technology domains, including but not limited to Artificial Intelligence, Cloud computing, or Software development
- Expertise in building and sustaining strategic relationships/partners with technology vendors
- Broad understanding of information technology landscape and emerging trends (e.g., quantum computing, GenAI)
- Expertise in technical writing, presentation writing, and proposal development
- Expertise in consultative selling
- Experience successfully leading and collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams
- Experience engaging with Sr. government officials and C-level executives
- Location: This is a hybrid position working at our GDIT facility in Falls Church, VA. This role will require working onsite 3 days a week.
- Security Clearance Level: Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret or higher clearance

The likely salary range for this position is $233,750 - $316,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
