This position will serve in a Relationship/Account Manager type role with our Public/Government Sector clients to include our consulting partners and plan sponsors.
This is a G2 band role but can be filled at the F2 band level depending on the experience level.
This role will work a hybrid schedule out of either of the Columbus, OH or Scottsdale, AZ locations.

As a Relationship Consultant, you'll work with internal and external clients or business partners to develop new business and strengthen existing business relationships. You will identify, prioritize and deliver workflow, service and business solutions. You'll have opportunities to be a liaison between a business unit and its clients/partners to promote our people and services and to facilitate issue resolution.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Develops and manages relationships with internal/external clients and business partners. Identifies business needs, service requirements, key issues, alternative solutions and resources for the clients and business.
Evaluates strategies and objectives of the business partners and recommends proper services and products. Resolves issues. Develops and implements strategic plans, coordinates reports, communicates performance results and develops action plans.
Monitors overall client satisfaction, progress of all ongoing work and projects and process improvement in order to improve service delivery.
Promotes and supports the sales and production of products through highly interactive relationships. Assists in new product development and field introduction.
Markets, promotes and educates customers on products and services. Coordinates benchmarking efforts for business unit. Captures information for selling the business unit services and makes presentations to clients.
Owns the administration and communication of service level agreements or contract commitments with assigned client base.
Develops and implements plans to tackle business problems related to the client's business and the services/products provided.
Assists in defining the communication channel and facilitates communication and integration of services between business unit and client. May serve as point of contact for the client.
May conduct training on procedures, processes and services provided by business unit.
Initiates the development and implementation of internal standards consistent with long-range departmental objectives and acceptable corporate standards.
Leads and participates in special projects and task teams.
May perform other responsibilities as assigned.
Reporting Relationships: Reports to Director or Officer.
Typical Skills and Experiences:
Education: Undergraduate studies in a related field. Certification, licensing and functionally specific course work as required by the business unit desired.
Experience: Five years of related experience including, but not limited to, customer service, relationship management, project management and relevant line management experience in an insurance or financial services environment.
Knowledge, Abilities and Skills: Knowledge of marketing techniques and approaches, organizational change, facilitation and negotiation and project management. Strong interpersonal, communication and facilitation skills. Proven working knowledge of products, services and processes of the related business unit. Ability to develop and maintain strong collaborative relationships with business unit and client. Must be able to lead multiple tasks and projects. Must have the ability to evaluate and recommend problem resolutions.

Working Conditions: Normal office conditions. Occasional travel. Non-standard or extended work may be required based on project needs.
