About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a Network Operations Shift Manager, internally titled as a Network Engineering Manager, to join our team working in a fast-paced environment where you can make a real difference to our business each day. You will manage a team of engineers that are highly skilled and focused on resolving incidents involving all aspects of secure network technologies with a focus on voice solutions. Partnering with peer managers and engineers, you will build state of the art automations that resolve incidents with little to no human intervention. You will provide guidance and support to the network operations team and work closely with hardware and telecom vendors to quickly address faults within the environment. You will communicate effectively with senior leaders regarding outages and recovery efforts while maintaining a focus on building strong skillsets within the network operations team.
In this role, you will:- Manage and develop team of Network voice engineers with the responsibility to maintain and support the company's telephony infrastructure including VoIP and Unified Communications.
- Develop and implement processes to monitor, maintain, and optimize voice network performance.
- Collaborate with teammates to ensure seamless integration of voice and data network operations.
- Manage vendor relationships for telephony services, hardware, and software
- Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control development
- Ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner and to the high-quality level that our customers expect
- Make decisions and resolve issues regarding objectives and operations of network engineering functional area and team to meet business objectives
- Interpret and develop policies and procedures for functions with low to moderate complexity within scope of responsibility
- Utilize networking management software and testing tools to fine tune systems and optimize system performance, monitor and implement security measures and streamline network functions
- Collaborate with and consult with peers, colleagues and multiple level managers
- Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Network Engineering
- Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent
Required Qualifications:- 4+ years of Network Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 2+ years of Leadership experience
Desired Qualifications:- One or more technical certifications in a network or cloud discipline
- Strong knowledge and experience managing VoIP technologies, SIP trunking, and unified communications platforms.
- Experience with cloud-based telephony solutions such as Microsoft Teams or Zoom Phone.
- Experience in network operations, maintaining a large network
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles as they apply to telephony systems.
- Hands-on experience with voice network design, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Experience managing a network in an automated fashion and directing the work of engineers who build and maintain automation
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools and performance optimization.

- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
- Willingness to work on-site at stated location on the job opening
