Our Digital Modernization Sector is seeking a a results-oriented Enterprise Architect to support the Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3) Enterprise Center’s (NEC) Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I) Division at Fort Meade, MD. This isn't just any job. The NEC serves as the hub for operations, systems engineering, enterprise architecture, and as the technical authority for the Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications within the Department of Defense. Our customer, led by the Commander, U.S. Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM), applies subject matter expertise and best practices to translate mission and operational requirements into solutions and operational capabilities.

In this Senior Enterprise Architecture role, you will collaborate closely with engineering teams, government product and process owners, and stakeholders to ensure that the engineering, architecture and/or Configuration Management artifacts are produced as required by our government customer. What will you do in this role?
Work as a leader within the technical team that captures, documents and drives work to sustain, modernize and replace existing Nuclear C3 systems.
Work with senior engineers to develop recommendations concerning continuation, modification, or elimination and replacement of legacy Nuclear C3 Systems.
Coordinates the collection and assessment of research that includes current proven solutions and emerging concepts for the Nuclear C3 Architecture.
Produces and publishes baseline and incremental NC3 system-of-systems architecture products to support development and fielding of advanced systems and update information hosted in digital engineering repositories.
Develop, update and maintain architecture artifacts (e.g., baseline and reference architectures) describing the existing and planned future NC3 Enterprise, as required.
Work in collaboration with other Architects to drive data-driven decisions by DoD Senior Leaders.
Basic Qualifications
Top Secret clearance with immediate SCI read-in eligibility.
Master’s Degree with 10+ years’ experience, or Bachelor's Degree and 12+ years’ experience, or Associate Degree and 14+ years’ experience, or High School Diploma and 16+ years’ experience.
Must possess one or more of the following:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or educational equivalent. Experience may be considered in lieu of relevant degree.
Experience with The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF), DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF), and/or Technical Architecture Framework for Information Management (TAFIM).
At least 10 years aggregate experience across the following:
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with senior Nuclear C3 community stakeholders such as NEC, USSTRATCOM, the Joint Staff, and OSD.
Understanding of, and experience, with operations and technical characteristics of Nuclear C3 systems to include strategic communications systems, sensor and radar systems, and communications systems deployed at nuclear command centers and on nuclear capable platforms.
Ability to apply system engineering techniques and/or enterprise architecture concepts to assessing solutions to operational capability gaps.
Experience conducting architecture/performance trade-off analysis within engineering designs.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $122,200.00 - $220,900.00
