The National Security Sector at Leidos are seeking qualified Apprentice Geolocation Operator - Active candidates who are looking for a challenge and interested in working in a team environment. This position is on a future contract. Candidates must be willing to work in the Augusta, GA area.
Primary Responsibilities
The Apprentice Operator – Active (AO-A) shall perform operational support to the government by performing tasks required to search, detect, identify, intercept, and locate signals of interest using the most appropriate sensor and active geolocation technique available.
Basic Qualifications
BA degree and 2 – 4 years of prior relevant experience; or Masters with less than 2 years of prior relevant experience. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
Top Secret/SCI (TS/SCI) with Polygraph security clearance required.
Two years of operational experience, within the last five years conducting RF collection or Direction-Finding operations.
Successful completion of the initial Active Geolocation certification program is required upon assignment.
Preferred Qualifications
Current or previous certification in active geolocation techniques from the Office of Tradecraft & Compliance, one of the Service Cryptologic Elements, or USAF Tactical Support Operator course.
Formal training and/or demonstrated proficiency as a linguist in a foreign language.
Graduate of 451 or 452 Signal Analysis School.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $55,250.00 - $99,875.00
