SUMMARY:
The Sustainability Data Analyst will play a critical role in advancing Andersen’s sustainability initiatives by gathering, analyzing, and reporting on sustainability-related data. The analyst will work with minimal supervision to ensure data accuracy and support the organization in making informed, long-term decisions. This position will focus on Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions, with an expanding role in managing Scope 3 emissions in the near future. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across departments.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Data Collection & Analysis: Gather, track, and analyze sustainability-related data, including greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions (Scope 1, 2, and later, Scope 3), energy consumption, waste, and water usage. Prepare and deliver regular sustainability reports that meet internal and external requirements, including compliance with sustainability frameworks (e.g., GRI, CDP, TCFD).
- Verification: Ensure the accuracy and integrity of sustainability data by implementing rigorous quality control processes. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, procurement, and finance, to ensure alignment and support for sustainability goals.
- Data-Driven Insights: Provide insights from data to support strategic sustainability initiatives and guide long-term decision-making.
- Compliance & Standards: Ensure all sustainability data complies with relevant environmental regulations and aligns with industry best practices.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in sustainability and environmental data management. Sustainability project management support and other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, sustainability, data analytics, or a related field. Advanced degree in sustainability, environmental management, or data analytics preferred.
- Two (2) years of experience in data analysis, sustainability, or a related field. Experience with GHG emissions reporting and knowledge of Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions.
- Proficiency in data management and analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau). Familiarity with sustainability reporting standards such as GRI, CDP, TCFD, or SASB.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills to present complex data clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight while collaborating effectively within teams.

In 2024, Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $4,000 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
