Signature Management Engineer
Key Role:
Apply engineering physics, engineering mathematics and materials science principles to support the design, analysis, manufacture, or maintenance of mechanical systems. Apply advanced consulting and extensive technical expertise and full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction and mentor and supervise team members.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience with signature management or powertrain engineering
Experience with thermal engineering
Experience with performing and evaluating engineering studies
Experience with managing a budget, schedule, and technology
Experience with performing hands on work in the lab field and analytical work
Experience with using CAD and Microsoft Office
Ability to review and evaluate technical information and assure that the latest engineering and scientific expertise is applied to the projects or programs involved
Ability to participate in and monitor testing and modeling and simulation activities, including preparing and reviewing test plans, observing tests, analyzing test results to determine adequacy of system and subsystem performance, and recommending corrective actions to eliminate deficiencies
Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
Additional Qualifications:
Experience with conducting and coordinating research, design, development, and engineering activities, including conducting specific research and trade off analysis, executing market surveys, and investigating technology transfer and insertion opportunities, requirements and specification development, contract and test monitoring, failure analysis, cost reduction analysis, production engineering, configuration management, and technical field support
Knowledge of automotive heating and cooling technologies, thermodynamic systems, heat transfer, and fluid dynamics
Ability to write technical reports, analyze complex data, use image editing software, be a self- starter, and lead a diverse group of peers to accomplish technology development
Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
