As Temporary Student Support - Bid Analyst you will be responsible for helping to execute the trade plans required to deliver the net sales and operating profit goals for our Channels team through the effective and efficient management of the bid pricing and contract process.
This position is a part-time Temporary Student Support (TSS) assignment that will start January 2025 and runs through May 2025. Overall, this role averages 25 hours per week. Hours do not have to be consecutive; they can be spread throughout the week. This position is remote.

HERE'S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Reviewing and analyzing bid requests and making recommendations to sales on products and pricing
- Analyzing bid recaps in order to understand win/loss/share data
- Developing reporting tools to optimize utilization of bid data
- Identifying risk and opportunity areas and capturing competitive information
- Ensuring accuracy of data, timely submissions, compliance with bid requirements, and compliance with internal audit guidelines
- Working closely with the Trade Manager on developing scorecards, providing guidance and direction and approval to the sales team on trade allowances to ensure effective use of trade dollars, and providing input into the trade budgets and forecasts
- Maintaining contract pricing integrity for all channels within Specialty
- Working closely with the deduction management team on deduction resolution and process improvements to increase efficiency and interacting with all levels of personnel and functional areas within the organization and must be able to influence the key stakeholders and decision makers
- Assisting in the implementation and communication of the trade strategy and trade effectiveness and efficiency plans.
YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS
- Currently enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours at an accredited college or university working toward a degree in a business-related field. Junior, Senior or Masters status preferred
- Excellent time management and a high degree of organization and analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Must demonstrate sound business judgment and confidence.
- Skilled in computer and software applications, which are critical in order to effectively execute the job, including Excel.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work with all levels of personnel within and outside of the organization.
- Experience in SAP/Vistex and/or CPG industry a PLUS
