This is a hands-on role where you'll use technology to help produce engaging written content and multimedia scripts, while also participating in the iterative design process to update and refine course materials.

HR Operations is an integral partner and service provider at Kiewit. In recent years, we have gone from decentralized HR groups to a unified, shared service team, with various HR Centers of Excellence. Our vision is to be a best-in-class international HR organization.
Location
This position is based out of our Headquarters in Omaha, NE. This is a shared service center in a professional office setting.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with Experts: Assist experienced professionals and content creators in designing educational programs that are relevant and applicable to everyday work scenarios.
Create Educational Materials: Help develop instructional materials and visuals that support learning objectives for both live and online training sessions.
Design Elements: Follow established style guidelines to design basic elements such as colors, images, and fonts that effectively communicate key messages.
Utilize Technology: Use various tools to help create engaging written content and multimedia scripts that guide instructors and participants.
Participate in Improvements: Contribute to the iterative design process by assisting in updating and enhancing course materials to ensure quality and accuracy.
Enhance Accessibility: Help make learning resources more accessible using technology, providing support to learners in a timely manner.
Projects: Assist in managing time effectively to ensure projects are completed on schedule.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Strong vocabulary, grammar, and punctuation skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with team members and supervisors.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
- Ability to develop basic technical graphics, such as diagrams or illustrations.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Graphic Design, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- Familiarity with instructional design, graphic development, or writing/communication.
- Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Affinity, CorelDRAW) is a plus.
