As a Material Coordinator for John Deere Des Moines Works located in Ankeny, IA, you will coordinate delivery of materials to the Point of Use and resolve part availability issues. In addition, you will:
- Communicate part availability issues and resolution to operations and other key stakeholders.
- Utilize SAP transactions to support all aspects of the material delivery process.
- Work critical shortage reports to ensure part availability.
VISA sponsorship is NOT available for this position.
- 2 or more years with experience using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- 2 or more years working in a team environment and delivering expected results.
- 1 or more years with experience in effective interpersonal communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- 1 or more years with organizational experience handling multiple projects or tasks.
- Ability to work over-time and some weekends to support business needs.
- Experience with SAP.
- Experience working in a manufacturing operations environment.
- Experience with Order Fulfillment, Supply Management, and/or Material Flow processes.
- Experience working proactively in a self-guided environment.
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Supply Management, Engineering, Operations Management, or equivalent related work experience.
