Job Summary:
The Claim Cycle Functional Analyst II is responsible for supporting record to report capabilities for CareSource medical claim spend in SAP.
Essential Functions:
- Work with information technology teams to ingest transactional data into SAP from CareSource’s claims processor (FACETS)
- Complete complex data extracts utilizing SQL and SAP tables
- Perform intricate data reconciliations across systems
- Ensure medical claim payment data creates accurate and timely financial postings in SAP
- Perform processes to remit claim payments to medical providers
- Ensure post funding data is ingested and posted accurately in SAP
- Partner with finance and information technology teams to improve SAP solutions
- Lead the implementation of financial system enhancements
- Identify and implement process improvements
- Design and create end to end SAP training documentation
- Provide validated and reconciled data extracts for audits and other user requests
- Identify and correct inconsistencies in data sets to maintain data integrity
- Create and execute SAP test scripts to evaluate system functionality
- Partner with finance and information technology teams to map out process flows
- Act as subject matter expert and provide system and process training
- Lead the timely resolution of claim payment processing errors across systems
- Design and create reports
- Perform any other job-related duties as requested
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor of Science/Arts Degree in accounting, finance, economics, computer sciences or equivalent work experience is required
- Business related post-graduate degree is preferred and provides credit for one year of related experience
- Three (3) years of experience in accounting/finance is required
- One (1) year of experience with SAP or financial systems is required
- SQL experience is required
- Managed care healthcare experience is preferred

- Excellent PC skills, including advanced Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Possesses strong critical thinking/listening skills
- Detail oriented
- Extensive knowledge of a variety of financial concepts, practices, and procedures
- Ability to communicate with all levels of management
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Working Conditions:
- General office environment; may be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time
- May be required to travel occasionally
Compensation Range:
$79,800.00 - $127,600.00
