The opportunity
We are seeking a talented, motivated and professional Aviation Part 145 Base Maintenance Senior Technical Manager to join the world class Air Combat Electronic Attack (ACEA) Sustainment Program supporting the RAAF F/A-18F & EA-18G Aircraft fleet, with the role based onsite at RAAF Base Amberley.
Responsibilities
- Provide Technical Leadership & Management to a Part 145 Base Maintenance Team
- Manage and Report on Aircraft Maintenance Schedules utilising Advanced Maintenance EVM Metrics
- Ensure Processes and Procedures are adhered to in line with Boing Policy
- Using advanced soft skills perform Leadership & Management functions for 50 + Technical Personnel ensuring team safety, harmony, technical development and personal welfare are promoted
- Ensure team objectives are met by applying ethical values to our organisational behaviours, whilst maintaining compliance to applicable regulations & standards including Legislative, DASR, ISO & Boeing
Experience/Qualifications
- Qualifications in an Aviation Maintenance Discipline
- Experience in Managing Teams of Technical Personnel
- Experience in Leading Part 145 Maintenance Teams
- Knowledge and Experience with ISO standards for;Quality Management Systems
- Safety Management Systems
- Environmental Management Systems
Eligibility
Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet defence security requirements.
(Defence / Defence Industry experience is highly regarded)
