Program Summary
KBR Metrology supports Honeywell Aerospace, and their suppliers with services including onsite visits, test equipment calibration and repair, metrology engineering, and equipment inspection. They also offer preventative maintenance, equipment sourcing, CMM inspections, automation and programming, measurement technical support, calibration recall system management, and performance tracking dashboards.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Calibrates and certifies Test, Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology utilizing certified laboratory standards and manufacturer, commercial or military specifications/calibration procedures.
- Calibrates and troubleshoots fault isolation, adjustment and repairs using Test.
- Measure Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) certified laboratory standards. Troubleshoots/repairs complex TMDE and integrated electronic systems utilizing theories of operation, block diagrams, schematics, logic trees and software diagnostics.
- Accurately records/reports maintenance actions using applicable maintenance data collection. Resolves group and customer issues, seeks to improve the overall productivity of the department, anticipates problems and initiates appropriate actions to eliminate them.
- Ability to create calibration procedures when required.
Basic Qualifications
- Must have a valid US driver’s license.
- AS degree or applicable technical training and certifications
- Experience with Microsoft office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- U.S. Citizenship Status required due to client requirement.
- Provides advanced technical/electronic and instrumentation equipment repair work, troubleshooting, modifying, testing, calibrating, adjusting, repairing, and installing electronic, digital and analog equipment and monitoring devices.
Preferred Qualifications
- AS degree or applicable technical training and certifications.
- 4+ years of directly related experience.
- Provides advanced technical/electronic and instrumentation equipment repair work, troubleshooting, modifying, testing, calibrating, adjusting, repairing, and installing electronic, digital and analog equipment and monitoring devices.
- Specific contract requirements regarding education and experience will prevail.
- Previous customer service experience is a plus.
