Job Summary
The Operations Manager reports directly to the AFCAP V Program Manager and is responsible for Operations Management financial success while meeting customer needs per agreed commitments. Value range is typically between $5- 40M in budget responsibility. Value Range may be set by PGM to adjust for business conditions. Experienced in Operations processes and process architecture including common evaluation methods with the ability to represent the Operations organization as a domain expert.
Roles and Responsibilities
- With general autonomy, position is responsible for the administrative/operational leadership of a government services project or projects within program guidelines established by the Program Manager, customer or contract stipulations.
- Coordinates activities between resource managers to ensure all necessary reviews and approval are met.
- Skills required for this job are typically acquired through the completion of an undergraduate degree and 10+ years of experience.
- This position shall function as an integral team member, cooperating with and supporting U.S. deployed forces, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) and shall share information with other integral team members as required.
- Ensure overall contract performance, which requires getting information to and from critical operating/supporting elements and directing/coordinating actions to ensure resources are fully utilized to properly perform the mission.
- Ensure all work tasks are executed in accordance with all aspects of contractual requirements.
- Perform as the Site Managers principal operations representative.
- Responsible for planning, managing and resolving customer requests and inquiries related to the operations.
- Applies policies, procedures and best practice processes to support site management and office services activities.
- Analyzes and advises employees of administrative and operating policies and procedures.
- Responsible for maintaining a safe workplace and ensuring that safety is the highest priority in the workplace.
- Perform other duties, as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Arts, Sciences, or Other Related Program Field
- Minimum 10 years directly related experience.
- OCONUS experience.
- U.S. Citizen with a current U.S. Driver’s License.
- U.S. Secret Security Clearance (or ability to obtain in first 60 days).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience in contingency environments as well as knowledge & experience working with government contracts.
Preferred Qualifications
- Preferred previous AFCAP Management experience. Preferred Certified Scrum Master. Preferred cross-functional and business experiences. Specific contract requirements will prevail.
