Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Support: Deliver expert technical support for flow meters and related instrumentation, including pre-sales consultations and post-sales troubleshooting. Efficiently address and resolve client issues.
- Application Design: Work with clients to design and configure flow measurement systems tailored to their specific needs, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to industry standards.
- Product Demonstrations: Conduct demonstrations and presentations of flow measurement and instrumentation products to highlight their capabilities, benefits, and applications, especially in the biopharma industry.
- Training & Education: Develop and deliver training programs for clients on the use and maintenance of our products, focusing on applications within the biopharma industry where relevant.
- Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including user manuals, application notes, and troubleshooting guides, ensuring accuracy and comprehensiveness.
- Customer Insights: Collect and communicate client and market feedback to the product development team to support ongoing product improvement and innovation.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with sales, engineering, and product teams to develop and implement solutions that meet client needs and drive business success.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or a related field) or Science
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in application engineering with a focus on flow meters and other instrumentation products. Experience in the biopharma industry is highly desirable but not required.
- Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of flow measurement principles, instrumentation technology, and relevant industry standards. Familiarity with various types of flow meters (e.g. ultrasonic, Coriolis) is desirable.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a proven track record of troubleshooting complex technical issues.
- Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills in both German and English, with the ability to convey technical information to diverse audiences.
- Customer Orientation: Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients, with a commitment to delivering outstanding service and support.
- Team Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and contribute to shared goals.
- Travel: Willingness to travel to client sites as required, both within Germany and occasionally internationally.
