Leidos is seeking an MRP Coordinator to join a diverse team that is standardizing high level material requirements planning across multiple manufacturing sites in the Defense sector. Location for work is Huntsville, Alabama.
Primary Responsibilities
This is an exciting opportunity for someone skilled in Material Requirements Planning to help our functional Production Control team set the standards for five manufacturing facilities. At the functional MRP level, this person will help develop standards and train the sites on mBOM indentions, Make-Buy flags, Order Policies, and Lead Time settings.
This person will work with a team of data scientist to establish and refine pro-active monitoring tools with exception based alert messaging. They need to have the right personality to work with project management and production teams to make sure their needs are collected and conveyed to the analytics team. Once standard processes are set for MRP execution, this person will then be responsible for training and adherence.
Basic Qualifications
Candidate will have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university and have at least 4 years of experience running MRP.
Hands-on experience in Costpoint is a must, along with a thorough understanding of project set-ups, inventory abbreviations, and netting groups.
Demonstrated experience with ECN’s, effectivity dates and substitutions.
Understanding of part master table configurations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with all members of Production and Analytics teams.
Experience with phantom items in mBOM’s and the understanding of how they impact MRP.
Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.
Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess or be able to obtain and maintain a Final Secret Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications.
Ability to query your own data and perform your own analysis using Excel or Power BI.
Experience in modern digital engineering tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Agile, and Scrum.
MRP experience with unit of measure conversions and different order policies.
CPIM, CSCP or CPM Certification preferred.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $68,900.00 - $124,550.00
