Leidos is seeking a Configuration Management Coordinator to join a diverse team that is standardizing manufacturing execution across multiple manufacturing sites in the Defense sector. Location for work is Huntsville, Alabama.
Primary Responsibilities
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Configuration Manager to help our functional Production Control team set the standards for five manufacturing facilities. At the functional CM level, this person will help develop Configuration Control Board procedures, as well as work with the Analytics team to create KPI’s and dashboards for monitoring our success.
This person needs to have the right personality to work with project management, engineering, production, and analytics teams to ensure all needs and requirements are met. Once standard processes are developed, this person will then be responsible for training and adherence.
Basic Qualifications
Candidate will have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university and have at least 4 years of experience in configuration management, running CCB’s.
Hands-on experience in Costpoint is a must, along with a thorough understanding of ECN’s, effectivity dates and substitutions, as well as PLM/ERP/MES software interactions.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Experience with phantom and synthetic items in mBOM’s.
Successful history of overseeing, organizing, and storing configuration management data, with strong action item follow-up documentation.
Expertise in developing training material and training end users.
Familiarity with unit of measure conversion challenges and how to overcome.
Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.
Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess and/or be able to obtain and maintain a Final Secret Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to query your own data and perform your own analysis using Excel or Power BI.
Experience in modern digital engineering tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Agile, and Scrum.
CDM, CICM or CCMP Certification preferred.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $68,900.00 - $124,550.00
