Your Day at Lowe's
In this role, you'll use your leadership and communication skills to manage, coach, and train our Cross-Dock Terminal (XDT) Lowe's associates. You'll handle inventory flow, manage associate schedules and tasks, and resolve customer escalations. Other integral parts of your role include resolving same-day delivery issues and building a positive team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a market-based team, overseeing delivery operations, performance management, and analyzing call metrics for process improvements.
- Interview, hire, and train associates on Home Delivery processes and systems.
- Motivate and manage associates daily, creating and promoting daily schedules.
- Communicate with customers on escalated issues, lead problem-solving efforts, and enhance customer delivery experiences.
- Solve problems, audit the business, identify trends, and collaborate with third-party delivery providers for world-class experiences.
- Utilize Warehouse Management System (WMS) for inventory reconciliation and audits.
- Lead and influence others to deliver business results, applying knowledge of Home Delivery Operations and Call Center processes.
- Interact with third-party logistics service providers, Lowe's Supply Chain teams, distribution nodes, and store operations to support operational excellence.
- Demonstrate effective problem-solving, change leadership, and team orientation skills.
- Communicate Delivery successes, opportunities, and recommended solutions regularly to improve experiences.
- Maintain continuous dialogue with third-party logistics vendor partners to address and resolve claims and complaints related to In-Home Customer Delivery experiences.
- Engage with the warehouse, supporting associate engagement, inventory management, and warehouse operations.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5 Years of supply chain leadership experience and high school diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 years of supply chain leadership experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Operations, Supply Chain, or related field
